HOW TO CLEAN AND ORGANISE YOUR HOUSE LIKE A PRO

Do you ever wonder how your room always seems to be in a messy state even though you just cleaned it recently? This really is true for a lot of people. No matter how hard we try to keep things tidy and organized, it gets messier faster than we can keep it spic and span. Not only do we look incapable, the chores seem to look like a lot.

I used to be in this shoe until I discovered that I was doing it all wrong. Believe it or not, there is a wrong way of going about keeping your space clean and organized. This article is going to show you indigenous methods and hacks that would help you in your bid to make your house cleaner. As you read through, bear in mind that consistency is the key! Enjoy.

1.Clean Things Up Daily

This might sound hectic and impossible but it is a lot easier than it sounds. You just need between 15 to 20 minutes to clean your bed- room, living space, and kitchen. All you need to do is to get a cleaning solution and a thick cloth to wipe all surfaces. There are a huge number of cleaning solutions in different fragrant available in the market to help you keep your space clean and smelling good.

Start with your bed. As soon as you get out of your bed, fold your comforter or duvet (whichever one of them you use), dust off your bed sheet and then lay it. This bedmaking process takes about 5 minutes. After that, you may take out your clothes, accessories, and shoes in preparation for work.

2. Make your cleaning routine interesting

Most of the times, we avoid house chores because we feel they are too much, are boring and would take time. A good way around this is to create a playlist of your current favorite songs, especially ones that boost your mood.

This is to be listened to as you start the house cleaning process. Since it would take about 15-20 minutes of your day every single day, you might want to prepare a playlist of about 8-9 songs.

You can also multitask. Learn while you clean.

There are several free podcasts that are avail able on the internet especially on YouTube which you can listen to while cleaning.

3. Prep a night before

If you are not a morning person, chances are that nights are more productive for you.

That's completely fine too for a neat and clean home. Since you find it hard getting into the rhythm of the day in the morning, you would naturally feel frustrated when you have to clean up before heading out.

To fix this, you can always prep at night.

Wash your dishes before going to bed, clean up your kitchen slab. This will lessen the number of chores you have to do the next day and also allows you to catch that extra minute/hour of sleep.

In addition to this, you can have your clothe out the night before so you would not have to throw clothes around the next day as you rush to go out. Be organized. You should consider packing your work/college bag a day before.

4. Do away with items that you do not use.

Declutter your space. There are various pieces of furniture, clothing, newspapers, and books lying around in our house which are either broken or no more in use. Those that can be given out should be while others should be thrown out. Get rid of them as soon as possible.

If you are averse to donating them all, you can sell them online through various applications and websites.

5. Make use of organizers

There are various cool organizers in stores that can help you better keep your stuff neatly. By making sure the items are in enclosed boxes, you will find it much easier to manage, clean, and retrieve them. All the loose papers, pens, stationery, boxes, and other tiny stuff can easily go into these tiny organizers.

Power of Habits

3. HABIT TRIGGER  HAPPINESS ;       One of the reasons why we engage in habits is happiness. The reason why we go to the gym daily or watch a certain show is that they bring happiness to ourselves. We keep doing it because we want to feel happy. While fear also drives habit in many cases, such as lying to your partner because we believe telling them the truth will drive them away. 4.  ARE WE SLAVE TO  OUR HABITS? As saw in the above example, clearly, we live by our habit. In a way, we are a slave to our habits. However, we have a special power, and that is our brain. Habits are never rooted permanently in our minds. We can change or shape them according to your needs. We just need to figure out a way to change them.
